Insomniac
I have resolved to be
An insomniac
An insomniac
Because if I allow sleep
To wrap her tendrils
Around my mind
And lead me by the hand
To the depths
Of my subconscious
I know that you will be there
Waiting
To show me the most beautiful
Nightmare
Silence
I have fallen in love
With a deafening
Silence
With a deafening
Silence
I now greet it
As an old friend
When it comes into my life
And makes itself at home
With my demons
And my nightmares
It inches close to me
And reminds me
Of how crowded
A room of one can be
And now silence
Is the only one
Who speaks to me
Anymore
